The problem is in different electrical characteristics of the panels together with different performance degradation. If both panels are rated at the same maximum voltage then you ll get maximum output. When solar panels are wired in parallel the positive terminal from one panel is connected to the positive terminal of another panel and the negative terminals of the two panels are connected together. If we have two or more solar panels with the same voltage but with different current it is not possible to wire them in series.

As clearly visible in the picture it will be enough to wire the positive pole of one panel to the positive pole of the other one and then wire the negative pole of one panel to the negative pole of the other one. To wire two or more solar panels and batteries in parallel simply connect the positive terminal of solar panel or battery to the positive terminal of solar panel or battery and vise versa respectively as shown in the fig below. When you intend to wire two panels produced by different vendors the vendors are not the problem. The parallel connection allows to increase the current keeping the same voltage. Connect the negatives to the negatives and positives to the positives. If we have two solar panels with same voltage and power the connection will be very simple.
